About me
I work in an integrative, client-led way, which simply means that our sessions are shaped around you and what you bring. My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of whatever feels most important in your life right now.
I also have a particular interest in working with young adults and students in higher education, drawing on my professional background in mental health, inclusion and wellbeing. University can be an exciting but also very challenging time, and I enjoy using my professional knowledge to help students navigate transitions, and the search for balance and belonging.
As a counsellor from a minoritised ethnic background, I bring both lived experience and a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory practice. I’ve provided counselling through a Bristol-based charity supporting racially minoritised communities, and it’s really important to me that counselling feels inclusive, respectful, and responsive to each person’s unique background and identity.
Above all, I believe counselling is a place where you can feel heard, supported, and encouraged as you move through the difficulties you’re facing.
If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, then I’d love to hear from you. Please complete the contact form and we can arrange an initial free 15-minute call.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 415776).
